Bloggers, whatever their obvious merits, do not generally have the resources available to media houses to do independent investigations and on the regularity required for accountability and transparent governance. <br />But blogging provides such an avenue for expression in a manner which is unmediated by those with power.<br />The two have to coexist, whatever the evolving medium of journalism.
